Random and pointless journal, but, I love driving in fog. The fog descended about 4pm this afternoon and then it got really dense. Driving home was fun - the fog was moving in waves in parts of the country roads, flowing over the hedgerows, awesome!

I have been working on art.

An upcomming 2010 CG movie from Dreamworks [link] - watch the teaser trailer! I'm stoked about this, the dragon designs look great and promises to be a laugh.

* I require a DETAILED reference, the more images and info the better, this can be a written description or ref sheet/drawings.
* I will offer a basic sketch before requiring payment in FULL when commissioner is satisfied.
* I don't draw illegal or hardcore subjects/topics (you can ask me precisely what i mean).
* I won't draw internationally copyrighted characters (tv, movie, game, book, etc) or characters owned by others (so no gift commissions, sorry).
* I don't draw human/humanoid characters, and reluctant about realistic mammmal drawings
* I will draw dragons (no matter how diverse), reptilian creatures, most fantasy creatures, anthropomorphic critters and i'll try my hand at reptile, bird or dinosaurs.
* Anything above a lineart commission will be shown in no less than 2 work-in-progress stages.

It's been one of those days...when you wonder what's going to happen next.

Started out ok until we set out in the car for my physiotherapist's appointment. Went early 'cos traffic sucks in the area we needed to drive through at that time, but as soon as i started the car and reversed out...clunk, and the expensive sounding metal clunk. I shrugged it off, as did i with the loose clutch pedal. 500 yards down the road... clunk, and the clutch lost more resistance. Another 500 yards and as i was turning into the road that goes past the Rolls Royce aero engine plant, i lost the clutch pedal and ability to change gears. My exact words... oh fuck! Managed to stay in 3rd gear until i could pull over (next to the engine test facility).

A string of obcenities later and i've enough composure to phone my Dad (auto-savvy petrol-head who works for a auto-spare retail group). My assuptions are confirmed by Dad. He arranges for me to leave the car at the fleet mechanics whilst i call my breakdown recovery agent.
35 minutes later and the car is being hoisted up to the back of the recovery truck.
The blokes at the fleet mechanics know me by now (car/s have been there a few time, out of favours for my Dad, lol.

So the car needs a new clutch - that bit's easy (and cheap - yay for getting parts at cost prices!) but it's gonna cost £140 for the blokes to replace it in labour costs, and they can't do it 'till wednesday! So no car till then. But we've got a photo-shoot thing to do tomorrow and long hours at work doing stock-take, ugh! I've spent hours today ringing round trying to get a rental car or van (could't borrow my dad's tank-of-a-mercedes, but not that i'd be happy driving it).

Now we should be getting a van tomorrow morning until tuesday. But now i'm in some agonising pain with my crappy dislocated knees and damaged hip. Gah!
